A database of the United States National Library of Medicine that includes about 18 million citations from MEDLINE and other journals for biomedical articles published since the early twentieth century.

Note: PubMed includes links to sites providing the full text of articles. It includes not only the MEDLINE database, but also OLDMEDLINE and in-process and publisher-supplied records. It is available free of charge on the Internet at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?db=pubmed.
